House of Eden – massage in the heart of Zurich

Our aim is to offer you a premium-quality service. At House of Eden, our team consists of professional and experienced massage therapists who are trained in line with international standards. Our customers are our top priority and are treated by professionals.

INFO #1

Bookings

We welcome bookings at short notice and walk-ins, although we cannot always guarantee availability. To secure an appointment for a specific massage on a specific date, we recommend booking in advance. Not every massage treatment can be booked at any time. We only offer professional massages. Our manner is always professional, friendly and respectful. We do not tolerate unprofessional requests. Should these occur, the massage will be terminated early. We will charge you for this in full and we will no longer be able to serve you as a customer in future.

INFO #2

Cancelling appointments

We ask that you give us 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel or postpone a massage appointment. Unfortunately, we still have to charge you for cancelled appointments without adequate notice and no-shows. If you book an appointment with us at short notice (on the same day) but do not turn up, we will also have to charge you for the treatment costs.

INFO #3

How it works

Where possible, we ask that you arrive a few minutes before your massage appointment is due to start, so you can relax with a cup of tea and a foot spa. We are unfortunately unable to take into account lateness on your part and will need to reduce the treatment time accordingly. Jewellery, watches and spectacles can disrupt the treatment, so we ask you to take them off in the treatment room. During the massage, your intimate area is always covered. The only areas of your body that are not covered are the areas being treated at that moment. For a Thai massage, we will also provide you with loose trousers and a shirt.

INFO #4

Etiquette

To ensure all our guests enjoy an oasis of peace and tranquillity, we ask that you keep noise levels to a minimum. Please switch off your mobile phone or other electronic devices, or put them on silent. We recommend avoiding alcohol before a spa treatment. Out of respect for our massage therapists, we ask you to ensure that you maintain a high standard of personal hygiene. Pets are unfortunately not permitted on the premises.

INFO #5

Health

Please inform your massage therapist in advance of any operations, accidents, injuries, illnesses or pregnancy. If you are suffering from a cold, inflammation (e.g. fever) or a skin complaint, or if you have recently had an infection, you should avoid receiving massage treatment. The oil or the massage itself may be contraindicated and worsen your condition. Massage can be an additional strain on an already weakened body. It can also be counterproductive if you have bruising or bone fractures, as pressure is put on the tissue and muscles during the treatment. If you are pregnant, you should avoid massage for the first three months of your pregnancy.
